Retreat of a Lifetime with Venerable Paula Chichester
To show our appreciation for presence and blessings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, we are going to do a retreat for the Long Life and Success of His Holiness the Dalai Lama -- who turns 80 this year! We will use "The Inseparability of The Spiritual Master and Avalokiteshvara: A Source of All Powerful Atainments", which is a beautiful liturgy and meditation that sprung spontaneously from the sacred mouth of His Holiness when the late H.H. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche asked His Holiness for a prayer to recite every day for all the wishes of His Holiness to manifest.
The retreat will last ten days, however, people are encouraged to come for as many days as their life permits. You can come anytime. The retreat will also include personal anecdotes and tips from Paula Chichester's years in retreat that will help to hone your meditation skills and understanding of dharma. The practice will be recited and chanted in English three times a
day; the retreat will also include periods of shamatha practice, discussions and yogic exercises that enrich the meditation experience. No prior meditation experience is necessary. Let's show His Holiness our devotion in action!

8 – 14 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation service; 50% Milarepa Center credit
15- 30 days prior to arrival: 25% cancellation service; 75% refunded
31 days prior to arrival: 15% cancellation service; 85% refunded
About Venerable Paula Chichester:
Due to the kindness of Lama Yeshe and Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche, Paula was fortunate to receive teachings on Mahamudra from His Holiness the Dalai Lama 35 years ago. Since then Paula has devoted her life to actualizing those teachings by following the advices of Lama Yeshe and Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche, enduring the hardships of dharma practice and discovering the bliss of the mind. One of those hardships that brought great results was a four year great mantra retreat at Milarepa Center; she is very happy to return to the site of her retreat to meditate and share with all who wish to attend.
