Equity compensation in 2015: best practices and emerging next practices

Panelists:

Daniel Hunninghake, Senior Consultant, Equity Methods, LLC

Takis Makridis, President and CEO, Equity Methods, LLC

As we near the midpoint of 2015, we’re witnessing a year in which stock-based compensation award designs are becoming more complex, finance executives are driving for more and better information transparency, and award recipients are prone to misunderstand or question their grants. Whether it’s more granular tax mobility, hybrid performance/market awards, proxy CD&A surprises, or FASB’s pending revisions to ASC 718, 2015 will not be a dull year.

Join Daniel Hunninghake and Takis Makridis of Equity Methods for a review of key trends in stock compensation accounting and related implications from novel award designs. Daniel and Takis will also share select findings from Equity Methods’ stock-based accounting survey, which looks into common and best practices adopted by finance centers of excellence. The audience will also be invited to compare their own processes/protocols against trends that are showing up in the industry survey results.
