Michigan District of Kiwanis Convention

at Marriott Renaissance Detroit, August 27-30.............. 

Come celebrate with Governor Rebekah and take part in education sessions; share meals with fellow Kiwanians; browse the Exhibits Hall for ideas; elect your leadership in the Michigan District; and just have fun in beautiful downtown Detroit.

Kiwanis block room rates are available 3 days prior and 3 days after Convention.  Take advantage of great rates to enjoy the amenities....................

The Convention schedule (complete) will be posted and updated on the District Website about July 10.  The basic information is:

Registration:  Thursday beginning at 2:00 PM, and all day Friday, and until 2:00 Saturday.

General Session (Open to everyone):    Friday, 4:00 PM

Second Session (voting):   Saturday, 2:00 PM

Workshops:    5 on Friday at 8:00am 5 at 9:00am   5 at 10:00am ;  

5 on Saturday at 8:00am 5 at 9:00am 5 at 10:00am

Make-up CLE is a separate registration and needs to be done at the same place as the other CLE registrations.

Registration opens June 1 and late registration begins August 12.  All events are pre-pay, although sometimes extra tickets are available at the Convention. *** If you have not completed your registration by close of business on August 5........you must wait and register in person at the Convention.

 

Registration for the Convention and Hotel Rooms is open to all on June 1, 2015.   There are three items to complete to make your Convention a valuable and memorable time:

1.  Complete the Online Registration process by choosing the Register Now! box below.  All attendees need to register, even if no fees are involved.  This is where you can choose all the meal and special events and make payment from your account balance or by credit card on Paypal.  Kiwanians must register separately and can register two non-Kiwanis guests.  NOTE:  You may only register once per email address, so, if a spouse or guest is a Kiwanian, a seperate registration with another email address will be required, or you should use mail in forms.

2.  Contact the Hotel at Marriott Renaissance by phone at 877-901-6632.  You must mention Kiwanis Annual District Convention to receive our Group rate.  Reserve online at www.resweb.passkey.com/go/kiwanisannualdistrict.  A promo code is not needed.

There are Kiwanis Block Rooms available on first come basis:

Single and Double Occupancy rate is $127 plus tax.

3.  If you are to be a Voting Delegate, your Club Secretary will need to submit a Delegate Certification Form.  Only one form needs to be completed for all your club delegates.
