This free workshop is a must for entreprenurs who want to protect their business from the multiple levels of fraud that exist from criminals posing as customers or professional service providers who use simple, manual fraud scams to elaborate electronic business take-over scenarios. This workshop will also review the new regulatory updates associated with the new merchant card processing anti-fraud updates which take affect on October 1st for all businesses in the United States.
Instructor: Rick Miller, CPA
Rick has worked as a business banker, financial consultant, credit specialist, sales coach, HR professional and marketing expert for the past 20 years. He is currently employed by Fifth Third Bank and has worked previously with Bank of America, Lipscomb University and NewsChannel 5. Rick is proud to serve as a SCORE volunteer, "I enjoy volunteering and serving SCORE clients. It provides a terrific opportunity to assist growing companies and their owners develop their vision and execute on their business plans." Rick has a BA in Public Relations and Broadcast Journalism from Lipscomb University and an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University. Rick is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Tennessee.
