Every congregation in Heartland Presbytery is encouraged to nominate two youth to the youth council. The youth council seeks to be as diverse as possible: middle school/high school, presbytery geography, church size, male/female ....

Youth Council Orientation 2015
Youth will gather at Heartland Center in Parkville on August 22, 9 am to 4 pm, with the Youth Council adults. Returning members and new members of the council will be welcomed. There will be leadership development in the form of study, games, and group building.
An arrival snack will be provided, and lunch will be served. There will be an afternoon snack. The day will conclude at 4:00 p.m.
The cost will be $10, which will cover all food and activities of the day.
Attendance at this event is required for all youth council participants.
