Latest Treatments for Hemangioblastoma Treatment and Von-Hippel Lindau Disease 

null Join UCLA neurosurgeon, Neil Martin, M.D., FAANS, Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery, as he discusses the latest treatments for hemangioblastomas and Von-Hippel Lindau Disease.

Hemangioblastomas are vascular tumors that occur as part of Von Hippel-Lindau disease, a genetic disorder that results in nests of blood vessels forming in the brain and spine. Dr. Martin will introduce the latest treatment options including surgery and radiosurgery to correct or remove these vascular brain tumors.

Neil Martin, MD, FAANS, is Chairman of Neurosurgery and the W. Eugene Stern Professor in Neurosurgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Martin is a world-renowned neurosurgeon with unique expertise in surgical treatments to cure facial pain, trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm. 

As Neurovascular Director of the UCLA Stroke Center, and Director of the Aneurysm and Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Program, he is highly sought after by media and peers around the globe to speak about groundbreaking treatments and research for vascular diseases and disorders.
