Safety first... Safety always.  This state-of-the-art, professional safety seminar is being offered by the Florida Chapter ISA at a substantially discounted price!  Experience cutting, climbing, rigging and rescue techniques that can keep you from becoming an accident statistic. Be prepared to interact with your fellow arborists and share what you know. You may just save someone’s life.

AGENDA

Come prepared to be outdoors for part of the day.  Bring your PPE (hard hat, eye protection, ear protection). In the event of rain, the workshop will stay indoors for the entire class. Remember to dress for your comfort level indoors as well; we cannot always control the room temperature at all locations.

Joe Shaw has been working for Davey Tree Expert Company for more than 12 years. He  currently works as a recruiter and trainer for the nation-wide company, providing valuable safety training for tree care workers.  Joe earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Recreation and Wildlife Management from Hocking College, Ohio.

Ed Bingle
Business Developer, ValleyCrest  

Ed Bingle is a business development specialist with ValleyCrest Landscape Company in Sarasota, FL;  previously he operated his own tree care company in North Port, FL. He is both a certified tree climber specialist and a certified arborist. He is the 2009 Florida Chapter Tree Climbing Champion.
