Watch nature being nurtured by a family dedicated to raising good, clean fair food and prepared by Chef MICHAEL HOWELL and the Jamaican crew from TapRoot with ALL ingredients harvested on the farm! Join us at TapRoot Farm at noon - The Bishop/Oulton family hosts a tour of their 53 acre paradise, where you can see nature gently being guided by the knowing hand of Josh Oulton to produce the food we should be eating. Chef Michael Howell gives a quick food demo from foods gathered on the farm with a nod to cooking seasonally. Steve, Richard and the rest of "Go a-foreign" farmers from Jamaica work with Michael and help prepare an authentic Jamaican Jerk Pork Roast for you to enjoy.
Finally join us at the table for a spectacular lunch of salads, fresh breads, vegetables, the pork and dessert prepared by Michael paying homage to TapRoot's Jamaican employees - they'll be eating with us too, for a taste of home.
