Transportation Training Day 

This training is geared toward head Start Transportation Managers, Drivers and Monitors and will address issues of policy, regulatory updates, and best practices with an emphasis on safety.

The event is designed to meet the four hour ODE Annual Inservice Training requirement for bus drivers and bus aides as described in Ohio's Pupil Transportation Operation and Safety Rules (3301-83-10(B)).

Session Objectives:

• Participants will identify best practices for bus inspections
  
• Participants will articulate the benefits of school bus transportation and its role in education
  
• Participants will identify strategies to effectively communicate with families to build positive relationships
