PopUp with a Purpose has one goal: to develop and code a website for a nonprofit in three days. The project will be supervised and taught by the coding gurus at WebTegrity. At the end of the three days, the students will present their final website to the nonprofit and their parents.
Students who will be 14 by September 1, 2014 are invited to apply, and we will accept 12 students into the August 2015 PopUp. The dealine to apply is July 15.
Dates:Friday through Sunday, August 7 - 9

Parent and nonprofit presentation at 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 9
It will be an intense three days, but at the end, selected students will:
- have a working knowledge of web design on the Wordpress platform
- learn how to code a Responsive WordPress website, customize a theme, use basic HTML and CSS skills, and understand modern website design
- earn community service and volunteer hours
- hone presentation skills
- have the opportunity to spend time with other teens with shared interests
- learn about opportunities for certifications and programs that lead to high paying, high demand jobs
