7th Annual "Battle at the Brickyard" 

 

July 9-12, 2015

Sign In Fees:    $99.00 for the first car, $49.00 for each additional car, Rookies are $75.00. Race of Champions Entry is FREE. Additional $10 if not pre-registered.

Any driver that meets all of the criteria listed below is eligible to participate in the race of champions.

Must have won atleast one Pavement National Championship event in 2014.

Must meet all current Light 160 racing requirements.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES

THURSDAY, July 9        

 Sign In/Parking/Safety Check Day - Trailers will NOT be permitted to enter until NOON!

PLEASE NOTE: RV and motorhome parking will be available onsite. Overnight motorhome parking is $225 for the event. Security will be onsite overnight.

Noon 

• Sign-Ins open (Pill draw for Practice/Heat order and receive Information packet)
• Safety Inspections for all cars that have not participated in a 2015 USAC .25 Midget event.

ALL VEHICLES WILL STAGE IN THE GRAVEL LOT

Parking will be a first come first serve basis.  There will be no saving spots.
Each race team will be given one FREE parking spot. Reserved spots are available for $75.
               
5pm               

Sign-Ins closed – Those that do not draw will have a number drawn for them.

 EVERYONE MUST EXIT IMS BY 10pm (UNLESS YOU PLAN ON STAYING OVERNIGHT).

WELCOME PARTY ON THE STREETS OF SPEEDWAY FROM 6-10 pm
            
FRIDAY, July 10 

 PRACTICE (2 Rounds 2 minute per class + Heat Races)

7:00 am          

• Gates Open - All cars must have a USAC Safety Check, No Exceptions.

7:45 am

• Drivers and handlers meeting.

8:00 am

• Practice will rotate by division (2 minutes per session)

Following the conclussion of the second round of practice we will take a break followed by the start of Heat Races.

6:30 pm

• Racing concludes for the day.

7:00 pm

• All drivers will take a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in their quarter midget.

EVERYONE MUST EXIT IMS by 8pm (UNLESS YOU ARE STAYING OVERNIGHT)

SATURDAY, July 11      

Heat Races + Any Lower Mains/Race of Champions Heats & Race of Champions A Main

7:00 am    

• Gates Open

7:45 am   

• Drivers and Handlers Meeting

8:00 am   

• Finish any remaining heat races followed by lower mains/race of champions heats and race of champions A A main. We will have a 2 hour on track break between race of champions heats and a main event.

7:30 pm 

• On track activity concludes for the day.

EVERYONE MUST EXIT IMS BY 8pm (UNLESS YOU ARE STAYING OVERNIGHT)

SUNDAY, July 12   

A-Mains and Victory Lane Ceremonies
 

7:00 am     

• Gates Open

7:45 am    

• Drivers and Handler Meeting

8:00 am     

• A-Mains 

Victory Lane Ceremonies (Top 3 drivers in each class plus all Rookies) Rookies are not competing for brick trophies. Rookies will all receive participation medalions.

RACE OF CHAMPIONS AWARDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE VICTORY LANE AWARD CEREMONY

6pm    Gates close - all drivers, crew and families must exit IMS
