Amtrak Roundtable & Passenger Rail Meetings on Capitol Hill

Railway Supply Institute members are invited to our annual Passenger Rail Day on Capitol Hill and Roundtable Meeting with Amtrak President & CEO Joseph Boardman and his Executive Staff on Wednesday, July 29. 

The day will begin with a roundtable meeting with the Amtrak Executive team. Discussion topics will include the state of the railroad, an update on Amtrak's current and projected capital expenditures, and Amtrak's Fiscal Year 2016 Grant and Legislative Request.  Members will also have the opportunity to question Mr. Boardman and his senior staff on Amtrak-related issues. 

Afterwards, the RSI delegation will head over to Capitol Hill to meet with lawmakers and staff to discuss funding of for Amtrak and federal surface transportation programs and its impact on the railway supply industry.
