usher Training this fall:

autumn-foliage-road.jpgIt is a requirement this year that all ushers go through a brief training session this fall with Maestro Steven Karidoyanes and our usher coordinators.  Both sessions will be at Memorial Hall.

Usher jobs

We have two types of  jobs available:

  • Usher: Seating/greeting patrons.  This requires the ability to read tickets, climb stairs and walk throughout the hall while interacting with patrons and staff.
  • Concert Support: Handing out program books and concessions.  This is a seated position.  Please note that fewer personnel are required for this position, so these positions will not be scheduled as frequentlly.

  • Since our main mode of communication is e-mail all new ushers must have an email address.
  • In early fall,  the schedule and usher assignments FOR THE YEAR will be sent out via email to all volunteers.
  • We ask each usher to commit to at least 2-3 concerts per season.
  • We are so grateful for each and every volunteer, but it is not possible to have all volunteers work every event.  It is our goal is to fully staff concerts while being fair to all ushers.
