Supervision of School-Based Candidates 

Please join us for a 3 hour workshop on Supervision of School-based Candidates on Friday, June 26th. The workshop has been approved for 3 hours of ethics and supervision ceu's for Oklahoma LPC's and LMFT's.

Many candidates are working for an agency but placed in a public school setting.  This presents ethical and supervision issues that are unique to the public school setting. Some of these issues include:

• contract work versus traditional employment
• informed consent
• identifying the client: the child, the parent, the teacher, and/or the school administration
• limits of confidentiality
• strategies for engaging the parents and the school
• when the supervisor need to intervene with the agency or the school
