Texas Plains Trail Roundup 2015
Roundup 2015: Here's your change to help shape our Region's tourism future
Dear Friends and Partners of the Texas Plains Trail,
Texas Heritage Trails Program As your partners in educating visitors and residents alike about the rich past of the Plains and Panhandle, the Texas Plains Trail Region invites you to participate in a singular experience to help shape our program's future.
Those of you who have attended our Tourism & Preservation Roundups for the past six years, with dynamic speakers such as Bob Phillips, Chet Garner, and Kim Phillips as well as presentations of the best and boldest ideas in Texas know what a rewarding experience our annual summer conference always is.
This year, your input and participation are more important than ever. And we want your best and boldest ideas.
In this critical time in the nearly 50-year history of the Texas Heritage Trails, only with our partners' input and a solid base of support can we ensure a long-term future for the program that helps generate $7 billion in tourism economic impact for our state's bottom line.
Join us in Lubbock to help shape our future.
This working conference, with the theme "Focus on Our Future," features stirring presentations in image, music, and words by National Photographer of Texas and longtime Texas Highways photographer Griff Smith, and our region's own Wyman Meinzer, Official State Photographer.
We're also inviting all of the state and national legislators from our region, and our local elected officials, to take part.
As we look back on our own heritage, we must look towards the future-now. We need your help to determine how the Texas Plains Trail Region can best serve our partners and our mission.
