"Constructing your Educator Portfolio"

The purpose of the session is to assist faculty members in documenting current educator activities and transforming these into an educator portfolio. This workshop is designed for faculty who are seeking to assemble credentials  for promotion or assembling an application packet for membership in the Academy for Excellence in Teaching.

By the end of the session, participants will:  

1.   List components of an educator portfolio.

2.   List characteristics of an effective portfolio.

3.   Create an action plan for documenting educator activities.

4.   View examples of reflective teaching statements.
