Co-hosted by Gift & Associates CPAs, PaySmart Payroll Services, and the IFS Group, this free informational lunch explains the difference between an employee and an independent contractor. Presenter Bryan Hodos from the Department of Labor and Industry will cover topics, including:

  • what conditions must be met to be considered an independent contractor
  • who must meet the burden of proof
