NIH Program Leader Campus Visit: New Innovator, Pioneer and Transformative Research Awards
Dr. Ravi Basavappa will present an overview of the New Innovator, Pioneer, and Transformative Research Awards, that are part of the NIH Common Fund High-Risk, High Reward Program, which supports exceptionally creative scientists pursuing unusually innovative and impactful research projects. The next deadline for Pioneer and Transformative Research Awards is October 9, 2015; the next New Innovator deadline is October 16, 2015.
Dr. Xiaoliang Sunney Xie, Mallinckrodt Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, will join Dr. Basavappa to share his experiences as a recipient of the Pioneer Award and the Transformative Research Award.
