Most managers think they do a pretty good job managing their people.  Although some do, most however do not.   They wing it and skip vital steps in how to manage.  In short, they’re reactive managers and need to become proactive managers.  This workshop provides an easy-to-use, quick, and effective system in how to really manage.  Effective management, especially during tough economic times, is critical. Ineffective management negatively impacts employee satisfaction, morale, job fulfillment, motivation, retention, performance productivity and ultimately the bottom line.  Join us if you’d like to pick up key management tips that will make you a more effective, respected and productive manager.

Each participant will also learn how to:

  • Empower yourself and your staff mastering today’s top management techniques
  • Obtain mutual buy in & consensus between manager and staff members
  • Learn how to ask key “drill down” questions that create understanding
  • Learn when and how to utilize the power of deadlines
  • Streamline meetings so they are goal-focused, efficient, and effective
  • Identify and overcome the roadblocks that impede performance progress
  • Learn how to tactfully hold staff accountable so they’ll want to vs. have to perform at a higher level

Presenter: Dr. Bob Gonet, Ph.D., is an Executive Coach & Corporate Trainer for I-empower-U; a company that has a successful track record of maximizing individual and team performance productivity, increasing sales, and helping thousands of job seekers land jobs.  His experience spans 17 years working for the top firms in New England.  He has worked with a variety of individuals at all levels and in such companies as: Midas, Staples, Avid, Ocean Spray, Sullivan Tire, Talbot’s, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and NStar.  Dr. Gonet has a Ph.D. and a Master’s in Counseling and is a graduate of the Coaching Training Institute.
