Intro to Lectio Divina Retreat  presented by Ana Cloughly, OSB

 Saturday, November 14       9am - 1pm        Gathering at 8:30 am          Fee:$40  Lectio Divina or "divine reading" is an ancient monastic practice is of praying with sacred scripture that dates back before the 6th century. This retreat is an introduction to the practice of Lectio Divina along with some history of the practice. 

Registration does not include lunch.

Forgiveness Prayer Retreat       Saturday, February 20           9am - 1pm              $40   Forgiving is foundational to our Christian faith and an expression of our basic core  of goodness. Forgiving oneself or others is not easy though. We must rely on God rather than ourselves. The Forgiveness Retreat explores our beliefs around forgiveness and offers a method of prayer that facilitates our trust in God's power and guidance as we strive to forgive the hurts of our lifetime.    

 Welcoming Prayer Retreat        Saturday, March 19              9am - 1pm             $40    The Welcoming Prayer is a method of consenting to God's presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. The purpose of this prayer is to deepen our relationship with God through consenting in the ordinary activities of our day. The Welcoming Prayer helps to dismantle the emotional programs of the false-self system and to heal the wounds of a lifetime by addressing them where they are stored - in the body. This prayer contributes to the process of transformation in Christ initiated in Centering Prayer.
