Congregation Or Ami welcomes the new Jewish year 5776 with our own special High Holy Day services at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in the Fred Kavli Theatre. Rabbi Paul Kipnes, Cantor Doug Cotler, and Rabbi Julia Weisz will officiate. Services will be enhanced by both musical accompaniment and the voices of our chorale. Dates, times and other information are here.
To receive the tickets you are entitled to as an Or Ami congregant, you need to renew your partnership with the congregation, pay necessary financial commitments, and order your High Holy Day tickets no later than August 24, 2015. * For security reasons, no one will be admitted without a ticket.
We look forward to a wonderful worship experience together as we prepare ourselves spiritually for the coming year. This season also affords our congregation the chance to raise much-needed funds through the sale of tickets to extended family and community worshippers.
A two adult congregant household is entitled to 2 adult tickets, and tickets for your children under age 25. An individual congregant household is entitled to 1 adult ticket, and tickets for your children under age 25. We hope that Or Ami congregants will encourage other family and friends to purchase tickets through our office. Congregants may purchase additional extended family tickets. All tickets will be color coded and checked at the door.
Please purchase only for relatives, and do not purchase for or share your tickets with non-congregant friends or aquaintances. Income from non-congregant ticket purchases defrays the costs of renting the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Non-congregant friends or acquaintances can purchase tickets at orami.org/RSVP or calling 818-880-4880.
Prayer Books: Or Ami is unable to loan High Holy Day Machzor (prayer books), Gates of Light.
Please purchase copies of the prayerbook using this form.
Thank you for making High Holy Days 5776 a meaningful and enriching experience for all.
