Target Audience
This course is designed for the TB nurses and other allied health care workers responsible for the administration and interpretation of the tuberculin skin test.
Conference Goal
The goal of this training is to provide an indepth educational and training experience for the nurses or health care worker responsible for screening, administering, and interpreting the tuberculin skin test.
Conference Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to discuss tuberculin skin testing and practice in the application of the TST.
Format
The format for this course will be lecturestyle presentations, with individual skill building practicum.There will be ample time for questions and answers.
