In the Vineyard & On the Farm
Dine with the winemaker and farmers, by the vines that produce the wines you drink, and the farm from which the ingredients for your meal are picked. An evening you will remember and delight in!
The evening will begin in front of the Bernat Vineyard with farm fresh hors d'oeuvres paired with both Bernat and Tercero wines; shorly followed by a tour of the vineyard by owner/winemaker Sam Marmorstein and a tour of the adjacent farm land by farmers, Debby and Shu Takikawa. While guests bask in the knowledge shared by Sam, Shu, and Debby; Chef Chris Joslyn, of the Los Olivos Wine Merchant & Cafe, and his team will be preparing a totally local Los Olivos three-course dinner. Guests will dine at a long custom wood table, savoring fresh picked produce with more delicious Bernat wine and locally sourced meat. As an added bonus this year, the renowned artist, George Lockwood (even George is a local!), will be present to capture the event on canvas. His plein air painting of the event will be auctioned to the highest bidder. All proceeds of the event and George Lockwood's painting will benefit the Santa Ynez Valley Jewish Community.
