The late actress Bette Davis first coined the phrase, "getting old is not for sissies" and she was right.  However, never in our history have seniors faced greater danger from scams and identity theft.  Seniors are vulnerable in many places to identity theft including on their own Medicare identification cards despite recent legislation to remove Social Security numbers from Medicare cards. Seniors are also specifically targeted for many scams, such as the infamous Grandparent Scam where the intended victim receives a call late at night purportedly from their grandchild in need of emergency money. This program will provide specific information about the steps to take to protect yourself from identity theft.  Along with specific information about how to recognize and avoid scams.

Seating is limited and registration is required.

Lunch is provided.
