William. Spear has been a member of New Jersey’s foreign trade and investment initiatives since 1998. He has helped exporters succeed in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America. He also currently serves as the Administrator of the New Jersey STEP program, a federally funded effort designed to increase the number of small and mid-sized exporters.

Toni is the Senior Trade Finance Specialist & New York/New Jersey Regional Manager representing the SBA Office of International Trade at the US Export Assistance Center in downtown New York City.  Before becoming a Federal Government employee, Toni was the Vice President and Manager of Trade Services Marketing & Communication for North America at a large global financial institution.

 Toni is well known in the business & banking communities, having spent many years in trade finance as a VP for commercial banks in both New York and New Jersey and as an export manager in the manufacturing sector. She has conducted international trade finance classes and courses for many years for high-profile corporations and educational institutions in New York and New Jersey

 

Sheryl Paynter Lender Relations & Economic Development Specialist

Small Business Administration, New Jersey District Office

Sheryl Paynter,  has been with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) since 2009.  Sheryl’s responsibilities include marketing the SBA’s guarantee program to banks, assisting banks with administering the SBA’s programs, and educating the local community about the Resources and Services available through the SBA.  She is also the SBA NJ District International Trade Officer.
