Kim Adsit presents
Session 1- Making the Most of Your Math Small Groups

Are you trying to figure out how to run small groups during math to teach number concepts in your Pre-K, TK, and Kindergarten class? Are you wondering what kinds of activities to use to teach the Learning Foundations and Common Core State Standards? Or, are you trying to figure out how to differentiate your number lessions without working yourself to death? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this session is for you! During this session with Kim, she will share how she sets up her small groups for interventions, ELL's, on target, and enrichment groups. She will also share what the other kids are doing while she is working with each small group.

Session 2- ABC's and 123's

Looking for some new, creative ideas for teaching those ABC's and 123's? In this session, Kim will share an idea-a-minute of games, songs, puppets, and activities that will have your children mastering those early skills quickly and seamlessly. She will also share ideas on how to document each child's progression through these skills to ensure that ALL children are learning...including remediation and enrichment!

Session 3- Literacy a la carte

You are sure to find just the right mix of activities to teach literacy on this menu! Select puppets, games, activities, props, and songs from this a la carte menu that will be sure to "stir up" some literacy sucess in your Pre-K, TK, and Kindergarten students as they learn letters, rhyming, word families, and much, much more!

Session 4- Prop Up Your Centers

In this session, Kim will share ways to incorporate reading and writing into all of your literacy and play-based centers. She will show teacher-tested and kid-tested ways to prop up your centers with items from the dollar store as well as many other teacher made items. Following the workshop you will be able to develop, organize, and manage effective and efficient literacy centers.
