About Hugh Moore Park
Home of the National Canal Museum! While
visiting the park you will be on the banks of the Lehigh River, one of Pennsylvania’s most scenic waterways. You see will locks and other historic structures along the Lehigh Canal, 19th century industrial ruins, as well as the park’s centerpiece, the Josiah White II canal boat. Take a voyage on the Lehigh Canal and listen while an authentically-dressed crew gives you an oral history of regional canals. It’s a memorable trip through history for all ages!
Canal Museum Hours of Operation: 11:30AM to 4:30PM
Canal Boat Tours are 45 min. long and depart at Noon, 1:00PM, 2:00PM, and 3:00PM
