Vajrasattva Retreat with Lama Sonam

2nd Section: Vajrasattva

Vajrasattva is a Tibetan Buddhist practice that can be done by
everyone who has taken refuge. It is also the second session of the Ngondro Special Opportunity Group.

Important: 

• You do not have to be a part of this group to attend this retreat. 
• You need to have taken the refuge cermony to attend. If you would like to become a Buddhist, Lama can give the refuge ceremony before the retreat. Arrive at 9am and let us know. 
• You do need to have had a Vajrasattva empowerment to attend via live stream. 
• Lama Sonam will be giving the empowerment at the reatreat and he stressed that everyone needs to make a special effort to attend this retreat in person if possible. Again, if you have the Vajrasattva empowerment then its ok to attend via live stream. If not, then you need to physically attend. 

Vajrasattva is a practice done to purify karma. 
We have all done negative things and their eventual result will do nothing other than drag us down. We want to purify these "seeds" that are lurking in our mindstream before we experieince the result.  We do this practice to help ourselves and all sentient beings. And it does feel good to dump that baggage!

About the Ngondro Special Opportunity
The Ngondro (or the Four Ordinary and Extraordinary Preliminaries) are special methods for purifying karma and accumulating merit and wisdom. They are a pre-requisite for preforming all high tantric practices and for preparing the mind for meditation. 
 
The greater the participation, the greater the collective accumulations
 and power of the practice.  

About the Special Opportunity to finish all four sections of the Ngondro in just two years by participating in this group accumulation practice in six-month intervals: This could normally take over a decade to complete. Through Lama Sonam's compassion everyone will finish in two years. All participants will receive a special certificate of completion. Because of their powerful, transformative ability Lama Sonam has given this shortcut to completeing this otherwise extremely time consuming set of practices. After the Ngondro, the group will continue to do the practices that are traditionally done in retreat. 

Out of the deepest loving-kindness and compassion, Lama Sonam has created a way for us to complete 3 year retreat by joining this group. This is an amazing way for us, who are unable to put our lives on hold for that length of time, to get the benefits of completing 3 year retreat.

Register Now!Because the point of these practices are for the accumulation of merit and wisdom, each section is priced affordably at $100 for members and $120 for non-members. Even if you have to pay over time, it is important to commit to making this offering. All donations collected will go first to making the traditional offering to the Lama. Everything above that will be split between the Building Fund and the Katsel Monastery Mural Restoration project.
