lunch & Field Trip to Woody Warehouse
Brewery Bus tour social 5pm-8:30pm
Lunch is free for our volunteers and we'll start the 1/2 day Field trip at 12:00pm. The bus takes us to Woody Warehouse where we'll enjoy a tour, a talk & light refreshments.
for each part of the event or choose the options you want.
We've planned an amazing set of talks all day on Wednesday.

AGENDA--IUFC Fall Conference Oct 13 & 14, 2015
Tuesday, October 13th
9-11am- Morning Service Project-MLK Community Center grounds. This non profit has been working to improve their grounds and we have been asked to help. Plan to wear work clothes as we will be trimming, pruning, and raking up piles on site. Volunteers are rewarded with lunch & soft drinks at 11 and a feeling of making a difference that lasts forever! No experience necessary as we will pair you with a pro. Great learning opportunity for new stewards!
11-12pm--Volunteer appreciation lunch (Pre-registration required--free if participating in service project)
12-4pm Field Trip-Bus ride takes us to Lizton, IN to Woody Warehouse where we get a personal tour and insights on what it takes to grow thousands of native trees efficiently. Lots of walking and dress weather appropriate! Bus will leave MLK Community Center parking lot at 12:15 and return between 3:45-4pm.
5-8:30pm-Brewery Tour Social--Indy Brewery tour (Bus)-Pre-registration required-Board the brewery bus at 5 and sample local beers from 3-4 Indianapolis breweries! Light snacks, soft drinks and beer samples provided. We will make one stop at a legend of Indy's urban forest, the Temple Oak. Dress weather appropriate and be ready for good fun with friends of the urban forest! Pick up and drop off location is the MLK Community Center.
