"Your Business Brand: Build It and Protect It"

Your brand is your promise to your customer. It's who you want to be and who your customers think you are. Creating AND PROTECTING your brand takes hard work, but it is the foundation of your business.

You’ve worked hard to develop your brand: your logo, slogan, business card, web-site and marketing materials. What's keeping someone from copying you? Can someone stop you from using the logo or slogan you’ve invested so much time, money and energy developing?

In this workshop, you'll learn:

  • What branding is and isn't.
  • Where to research names, logos and trademarks.
  • How to create a brand image that reflects your core values.
  • How to be consistent with your branding.
  • Easy ways to monitor and protect your brand online.
  • The difference between copyright and trademark and when to use each.
  • Where to place trademark and copyright notices.
  • What to do if your brand is threatened.

This informative workshop will include time for casual networking between 8:30 - 9:00. Coffee and tea will be served.
