As a Pain Ambassador, Advocate or member of U.S. Pain Foundation, I support the organization’s mission: To connect, inform and empower those living with pain while advocating on behalf of the entire pain community. I believe in U.S. Pain Foundation’s effort to serve those who live with pain conditions, their caregivers and healthcare providers. U.S. Pain Foundation is committed towards the encouragement of pain survivors so that they may become proactive in his or her treatment plan.
For the aforementioned statement above, I PLEDGE TO:
RECOGNIZE the children and over 100 million Americans who live with a form of chronic pain on a daily basis.
RAISE AWARENESS to the best of my ability in an effort to eliminate the societal stigmas associated with chronic pain.
EDUCATE and EMPOWER myself as well as others concerning the stigmatization of invisible illnesses.
PROVIDE SUPPORT for pain warriors or caregivers who may need it.
BECOME THE VOICE for those who cannot speak.
Furthermore, I pledge to support, embrace and advocate for the pain community not just during pain awareness month, but every day throughout the year.
