On October 1, the CAC’s 2015 Anniversary Benefit celebrates two decades of galvanizing the community’s response to child abuse. Marking this milestone, the CAC will induct the first honorees onto the newly created “CAC Honor Roll" with food & drink at Atlantic Wharf in downtown Boston.

The 2015 Honor Roll recognizes four outstanding individuals who have quietly made a big impact for children in our community:

James E. Rooney

President & CEO, Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce

As a civic & community leader and chair of the Massachusetts Children’s Trust Fund, Mr. Rooney has long been dedicated to raising public awareness to prevent and eliminate child abuse.

Peter Flaherty & Jennifer Mugar Flaherty

Shawmut Group, CAC Board of Trustees

The Flaherty’s are longstanding supporters and deeply committed to supporting youth in Boston and beyond.  Active in youth serving agencies and more, they have touched countless lives.

 Daniel F. Conley

Suffolk County District Attorney

District Attorney Conley has been an instrumental partner in the CAC’s growth and efforts to protect children and families.  His leadership in Suffolk County helped to create Boston’s victim-centered and groundbreaking response for victims of child trafficking.
