  • Explore your career values and priorities through individual and group exercises
  • Analyze your skills and interests to help determine the type and kind of work that best suits you
  • Brainstorm and choose your best career fit, following the "3C's" of Relaunching: Control, Content and Compensation
  • Leave with a clear direction, and a roadmap for exploring opportunities, including full-time and part-time employment, consulting and entrepreneurship

Meet Coach Carroll Welch

Carroll Welch is a career coach and counselor and a former practicing attorney. For several years, Carroll Welch has partnered with law students, junior and senior attorneys and those re-entering the legal profession after a hiatus to support their work in articulating their passions, developing their visions and achieving their career goals. Some of her areas of focus have included: career planning and development, transitioning back to paid workforce or into new employment venues, exploration and pursuit of alternative legal careers, interview preparation, resume and cover letter drafting, confidence building, colleague relationships, work life balance, and goal setting and development.

Carroll graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1985 and the University of Virginia School of Law in 1989. She has a certificate in Executive and Organizational Coaching from New York University and is a member of the International Coach Federation. Carroll is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York’s Women in the Profession Committee and is past Chair and Member of its Career Advancement and Management Committee. After law school, Carroll practiced commercial litigation and employment law at two major law firms. After successfully completing her own career re-entry, Carroll has worked for several years as a career advisor and program director at Pace Law School’s attorney re-entry program. Carroll lives with her husband and three children in Westchester County, New York.

  • Due to the high demand and small class size for Boot Camps, we cannot give refunds.
  • Unfortunately, we also cannot allow people to switch to another Boot Camp Session once registered, or to do a make up session with another Boot Camp group.
