The Days of Awe are a special time of the year at Or Chadash. Beginning with Selichot through Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and culminating with Hakafot for Simchat Torah, we study, pray and celebrate together.
There is no charge for any service and everyone is welcome. At the same timethe synagogue depends on the support of the community - your contributions and participation make our presence possible. All donations would be gratefully received.
We request that you register for the services that you are attending on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur as well as the Rosh Hashanah Luncheon which costs $25 for Members and $30 for Non-Members.
Parking is available in a lot across the street from across from the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation and on streets adjacent to the synagogue. Parking is also available in the parking lot of the Levy Center, across Dodge Ave., if needed. If you are planning to use public transit, please check the red "Directions" link under the map on the left side of this page. We are arranging a free shuttle service to and from Emanuel at 5959 N.
