Orli is a Market Editor at the Hearst Design Group: ELLE Decor, House Beautiful, and Veranda. She has been in the business for over 10 years (9+ at Hearst) and has a particular passion for fabric and wallpaper. Orli currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, with her lovely fiancé and enjoys people watching, playing cello, and occasionally doing improv comedy.
Gregory is the Assistant Curator in charge of the Wallcoverings Department at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. The Cooper Hewitt Museum currently houses the largest collection of wallcoverings in the United States, numbering over 10,000 pieces that date from the late 17th century to the present. Gregory has been working at the museum for over twenty years and is responsible for the continued growth and preservation of the collection, ongoing research, and making the collection accessible to staff and scholars. He has curated two exhibitions at the Cooper Hewitt including Wall Stories: Children’s Wallpaper and Books and Artist-Designed Wallpapers. He has lectured on the effect of technology on surface design and has a special interest in early twentieth century American wallpaper. He received an MA in Museum Studies from the Fashion Institute of Technology, SUNY, New York, 1991 and a BFA in Studio Arts from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, 1987.
GINA SHAW
Gina is the Vice President of Product Development at York Wallcoverings. Gina's entire career has been in the wallpaper design industry, directing and designing residential & commercial collections for 33 years. Gina motivates and inspires 30 talented teammates in creating favorite wallpaper brands like Waverly, Walt Disney, Williamsburg, Candice Olson and Tommy Bahama for York Wallcoverings, American's oldest and largest wallcoverings manufacturer. Her style I.Q. and affinity for trends make her the leader in her field but, this mother of two is quick to add, "My husband was a stay-at-home dad for 13 years while the kids were young and without his support, there's no way I could have done it."
