Adirondack Foundation Nonprofit Leadership Seminar: Building A Board That Works

This capacity-building seminar will be led by Andy Robinson, a Vermont-based consultant who works with nonprofits and grassroots groups across the country.

To be effective, nonprofits must recruit board members who support their ideals, represent the diversity of the community, and bring a wide range of skills. This workshop covers:

• Roles and responsibilities of board members
• Finding and filling the gaps on your board
• Creating and using a board “job description”
• Training and motivating your board to raise money
