Therapeutic Techniques for Children with Asperger Syndrome and Associated Neurological Disorders

Join Mike Sumler, MS, LMFT, for a unique conference for therapists. More and more children are on the Autism Spectrum and being diagnosed with associated neurological disorders, which requires the need for better understanding. Mike Sumler has spent the last thirteen years working with these children. A light breakfast, snack and lunch are included in the $90.00 registration fee.

By attending this conference, you will be able to enhance your work as a clinician with children and adolescents who have Asperger Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, OCD and/or ADHD.

  • Learn realistic expectations for therapy and new ways to engage these clients.
  • Understand the behaviors that need to be addressed for successful implementation of strategies.
  • Help families support these children in their movement towards change while learning new tools themselves.
  • Learn the anger cycle that children with these disorders experience and how to change it.
  • Familiarize yourself with a family therapy strategy.
