Gregory J. Meyer, Ph.D. & Joni L. Mihura, Ph.D.
Thursday 10/22: Introduction to R-PAS: Rationale, What's New, and Introduction to a Case
Saturday 10/24: Intermediate Level Training in R-PAS Administration, Coding, & Interpretation
These two 1-day workshops are designed to provide both an introduction to understanding and using R-PAS in applied practice and more advanced training in administration, coding, and interpretation. Taking both provides an excellent introduction to R-PAS.
The Thursday workshop is primarily lecture and presentation, though with time for questions and discussion. The Saturday workshop is a combination of interactive experience related to administration and coding, and active discussion related to interpretation. Complete details for the two workshops can be found at the links here: Thursday and Saturday.
Participants in either workshop should have an R-PAS Manual (The Rorschach Performance Assessment System, Administration, Coding, Interpretation and Technical Manual, by Meyer, Viglione, Mihura, Erard, & Erdberg, 2011), which will be helpful to have on hand during the workshop. After registering for the workshop a 10% discount code will be forwarded to participants so that they can order the Manual at www.r-pas.org.
Attendees are also encouraged to register for an online R-PAS account (www.r-pas.org/Register.aspx). Registration is free and once registered, users have access to a variety of training resources and can purchase protocol scoring allocations and other products, including the Portable Form Quality Tables and Coding Guide, Hermann Rorschach’s Official Inkblots, Reference Sheet for R-PAS Administration, Color Location Charts, and Color Hand Scoring Forms. Workshop attendees with an account will be given one free protocol scoring allocation that will allow for the coding and processing of a protocol on r-pas.org.
