Cost/Fee:$2,495.00 per rider /horse (fees are based on 2 riders per trailer)  $500.00 deposit required to hold your spot. You will need to provide your own horse/truck & trailer for hauling and camping.  For trips of this distance it is best to have a traveling partner. Single rider option available at a slightly higher rate-contact us for details. 
  REFUND POLICY: Deposits are Non-Refundable.  A Deposit of 500.00 required per rider at registration to hold space.     Balance owed must be paid in full 45 days prior to trip begin date. We reserve the right to remove you from the trip if you balance has not been paid by due date. Limited  spots available early registration is suggested.  Balance due must be paid in full by Feb.1st, 2016.

Note: You will be responsible for your own food/meals, spending money, beverages in addition to supplies & feed/hay/shavings for your horse other than meals noted.

Grocery & feed store visits will be a part of our itinerary. 


 Stargazer Mesa Dinner Night in Big Bend- riders will be provided a setting and a dining experience that is true to the Old West, using Dutch ovens and hot coals to prepare an outstanding meal. An evening under the stars. (included in registration/rider fee)


 Negative Coggins & Health Certificate required for each horse.

All breeds of horses are welcome.

Once registered & your deposit has been received you will begin to receive information on preparing for your trip with more details of the itinerary & logistics of the trip.

Daily rides should last 3-6 hrs a day depending on location.  Rides will be paced according the group and will be designed to keep riders and horses safe and having fun. This ride will be very stock horse friendly-note we ride American Quarter Horses. 

Enjoy exploring the beautiful trails with the comfort of having like minded horse folks to share it with.  Work on developing your partnership with your horse while taking in the magic of the scenery.  Take time to relax and hang out at camp or head into town for an adventure! 

Nightly gatherings by the camp fire as well as heading into town to catch a little entertainment from time to time at a local saloon or honky tonk bar.  These will be found mostly in Texas of course. 

There is just no telling what this group will get into on this trip.  I'm sure there will be some Tall Tales to Tell once its all over!

logistics,tips, hints & suggestions to prepare for your trip.

   

 You have dreamed about it........You have talked about it.............Now you can do it!

 All the details are taken care of for you.  Spend 24 Days Camping & Trail Riding on some of the most beautiful trails available.  PPE will plan all the details of the trip for you and your horse.  Logisitics, Camping, Road side support/assistance on the highway.  Rider Support on the trail with Equine Clinician/Horseman Joe Most are also availalbe to make your trip safe and enjoyable.  Riders will have spacious camping with RV Hook ups and stall/pens for their horses at each camp location. The opportunity to visit several historic sites and other fun & educational actitivities will also be available.

We will travel/drive to each main destination and stay between 3-5 days. While there we will trail ride our horses on the trails available in that particular area and then load up and move the next location for another trail riding experience.  We will make several long stops throughout the states from TN-TX. Along the way we may have 1-2 night layovers in different areas.

The  adventure wil begin at the Big South Fork National Park area in Tennessee.   .   Feel secure in knowing you are riding with a group of considerate riders along with a Horse Professional guiding and coaching you on the trail.  We will also make stops in some really horse friendly areas of Texas including Stephenville & Weatherford TX.  We will spend 3-4 nights in each main location enjoying the trails & sights of that particular area. (For a total of over 3000 miles round trip from TN -TX.)

Big South Fork National Park is built around The Big Fork of the Cumberland River.  From camp we will have access to over 180 miles of trails that are mostly in the woods, along creeks and ridge lines.

 

This location offers easy access campsites with electric & water hook up. Level sites and can accomodate even the largest of rigs. RV Dump Station, bathhouse with heat/ac. 

Ouachita National Forest, AR /OK will offer over 130 miles of trails with Water Falls, Scenic Mountain Vistas, Beautiful Rock Formations, Abandoned Silver Mine & Creek Crossings.

This trip will offer riders a chance to soak up some of the local color with visiting western towns, shopping and touring in many of the beautiful areas that we will be camping.  Our schedule includes spending multiple days in different locations to allow for a relaxing & low keyed travel experience for you and your horse.

Bandera, Texas will give us the opportunity to ride our horses right into the town of Bandera and enjoy the day.

While in Bandera we will stay at a fantastic horse camp with Large Full RV hookups 20/30/50 amp service, Concrete pads for trailers, 300 acre ranch with trails, swimming pool, basketball/volley ball court & more. Shower House,game room & gift shop.  Pens for horses right at your campsite.  

 

 Spend the day in San Antonio!

San Antonio offers a variety of sight seeing with the Alamo and the well known River Walk. A Day trip will be planed for of those in the group to visit the city by double decker bus and see the sights and take the Rio San Antonio River Boat Ride.  

 

A trip to San Antonio must include a stop at the Buckhorn Saloon Museum & Texas Rangers Museum. 

 

Big Bend National Forest in Texas offers miles of trails for riders. 

The photos say it all....This location is going to be one with the most breathtaking views of this area of Texas. 

The nights will be as magestic as the days with the beautiful sunsets!

This location will require the use of a full time guide for our trail comfort and safety to insure we have the best experience on our visit.

 

 

Stalls for horses will be located in the Equestrian Center on the property

 RV Park includes Internet, Cable TV, Full Hook-ups, Swimming Pool, Laundry Facilities, Pet Friendly, Picnic area, Bath houses,30/50 Amp Hook up, Big Rig Friendly. 

Access to all resort amenities, weight room, restaurant, Spa & Golf Course. 

 

Enjoy a Star Gazer Mesa group dinner with live music and wonderful food and spactacular rides in this scenic part of Texas. 

 

 The adventure does not stop here!  Once we leave the Big Bend area we will head to Fortworth Texas.  This location will offer RV Camping with stalls and arena for the horses.   

 Fort Worth, Texas will find us visiting the Fort Worth Stockyards where we will spend a few days going back in time to the old west and see the Cattle Drive of the famous Long Horns down the streets of Fort Wort, Rodeos, Live Entertainment, shopping & much more!

 

We will visit the Cowboy Hall of Fame Musuem,Stock Yards Museum and enjoy stopping in at Billy Bob's Texas.  A carriage ride through the stockyards is also on our list of fun for this stop.

Trail riding will also be available while in Fortworth and we can even take a ride down the streets of the stockyard


Arkansas is last but not least on our list. It will offer us the chance to enjoy some really nice trails and quiet camping along with the opportunity to visit the Hot Springs.  


Each stop will offer something a little different.  This is a fantastic adventure and we selected each location for a specific reason.  We feel confident that you will enjoy each of these locations just as much as we do.
