5th Annual                                             READY TO LEARN CONFERENCE

It's time for this highly anticipated, well attended event! We know the dynamic speakers will keep you engaged all day and beyond!

Workshops will focus on helping all students to reach their potential regardless of their obstacles. Attendee participation is pivotal to the day's success, so come prepared to move and be challenged!

GUEST SPEAKERS:

Dr. John P. Jacobi, OD, FCOVD                                                                        DEFINING AND OVERCOMING DYSLEXIA: Over the years, Dr. Jacobi has found that a lack of understanding of the dyslexic condition had led to fear and resignation. As a result, life pursuits in academics and socialization become increasingly limited for these often bright children. Attendees will leave with a sense of hope and inspiration to act.

Dr. Robert Sornson, PhD                                                                                                HOME ROUTINES FOR SUCCESS IN SCHOOL AND LIFE:  Many children today are not experiencing the family routines which are associated with learning success during the early years of school. As a result, these children may have difficulty learning to self-calm, focus, persist and delay gratification. Dr. Sornson's focus on developing the whole child will give both parents and teachers the tools they need to help kids develop crucial self-regulation skills and social-emotional skills.

Educators will earn 5.0 State Continuing Education Clock Hours for their participation.

Space is limited to 100 seats so reserve yours today!                            Registration ends October 12, 2015.
