Driving Directions 

Anson B. Nixon Park will be closed to vehicles from 9AM - 3PM, and parking is reserved for event sponsors, vendors, all-day exhibitors, and all-day volunteers only.  

To park and walk in on the trails, park in the Genesis Parking Garage downtown, side streets that run next to the park, or the Kennett YMCA upper lot.

To park and take the shuttle (runs every 15 minutes) 8AM - 3PM, park in Eagle Energy Systems (500 North Walnut Road) and the Genesis Broad Street lot next to Kennett High School (600 South Broad Street)  Click here to view a map of the parking areas.

5th Annual Wellness Celebration with La Comunidad Hispana (LCH)

Jon LCH in our fifth annual ¡Vive tu vida! Get Up! Get Moving!® event as we celebrate health and wellness in our community. Activities this year include:

  • Free flu shots
  • Free health screenings and community resource information
  • Fitness Walk Challenge with Christiana Care Health Systems
  • Free healthy lunch with Giant and Chester County Foodbank
  • Bounce houses with the YMCA
  • Fresh salsa contest with local restaurants (Plaza Azteca, El Campamento, Taste of Puebla, Red Sombrero, El Ranchero Mexicano, El Rinconcito, La Peña) 
  • Balloon artist, crafts, face painting
  • Zumba session, salsa dance lesson, sports demos and clinics
  • Raffles and giveaways
  • Live music and dance
  • Pony rides

Stop by LCH to pre-register for the grand prize raffles: bikes, cookware set, gas grill, fit bit watch, and YMCA membership.
