Pharmacy Technician

Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician you will: 

Help the pharmacist package or mix prescriptions
Maintain client records
Refer clients to the pharmacist for counseling
Assist with inventory control and purchasing
Collect payment and coordinate billing

This course combines 130-hours of classroom instruction with a 40-hour pharmacy externship to provide you with a complete learning experience. (Total - 170 hours)

Schedule:
Classes are held on Mondays
January 11, 2016 until May 30, 2016 from
10:00am - 5:00pm at the BRTC - Paragould campus.

Pre-requisites:

Minimum 18 years old
High school Diploma or its equivalent
Internet access, printing capabilities and email
State Board of Pharmacy background check
Math and English pre-assessment test
CPR certification (prior to externship)
TB testing (prior to externship)
Resume (prior to externship)

Program Fee: $1895.00
(includes books, consumable supplies, externship & course completion certificate)
