Course Description:

• Provide an overview of automatic door and revolving door choices; codes, options, applications providing site planning protecting the general public, and addressing environmental concerns by providing sustainable design which creates comfortable interior environments that provide daylight and views
   
• Inform to reduce misapplications between Low Energy swing door operators and High Energy Operators; Knowing code requirements that will enable methods and systems to provide accessibility and not limit pedestrian traffic flow. Review security applications
   
• Discuss Building Code and ANSI/BHMA codes, ADA law, Fire Codes, & concerns intended to prevent accidental among users of building but provide sustainable design for social and economic values
   
• Access requirements for Maintenance and utilizing AAADM (American Association of Automatic Manufacturers) Certified Field Technicians that provide sustainability for the life cycle cost of the building over time
