October 15, 2015
The Robins School of Business is proud to continue its Robins Executive Speaker Series, a program established to enhance connections between our students, the school and the community.
Please join us as Josh Abramson, '03, co-founder of CollegeHumor, Vimeo and TeePublic, shares insights about his entrepreneurial journey and his personal experiences during an on-stage interview with Dean Nancy Bagranoff. A serial entrepreneur who started his career when he co-founded CollegeHumor during his freshman year at University of Richmond, he quickly built it into one of the largest comedy sites on the Internet.
While running CollegeHumor, Mr. Abramson also co-founded Vimeo and BustedTees, selling 51% of the combined businesses to IAC in 2006 for a reported $20 million. After leaving IAC in 2011, Josh bought back BustedTees and proceeded to launch TeePublic, which has quickly grown into an industry-leading e-commerce business. Josh is also a venture partner at FirstMark Capital, investing in and mentoring many entrepreneurs throughout the New York tech ecosystem.
