Women Know: Financial Empowerment
Investing is not a complicated science that only big brokers can understand. It’s something we have all done, on a scale large or small. This session will break down some of the basics of investing. The presentation will focus on basic to mid-level topics for individual investors.
Keeping up on the financial news means more than just watching the TV business news or reading an occasional web article. As co-presenter in this session, Jennifer Harper will help you understand, integrate, and prioritize what you hear and read. She will help demystify all of the jargon used in financial news reporting and break it down into information that can be interpreted for day to day use. She will help attendees understand how topics such as interest rate changes, gasoline prices and others can have a direct budget impact on individuals.
