Women Know: Financial Empowerment

To quote Spiderman's Uncle Ben, " With great power comes great responsibility." Melissa Curtis and Lee Ann Adams will present on the power of women to become their own superheros and plan responsibly from themselves, their families, and loved ones using the resources of personal insurance and estate planning. Key areas which will be addressed include:

• Income replacement and financial security in the event of death, disability, or illness
• Methods of transferring assests including lifetime gifts, joint ownership, beneficiary designations, estate planning vehicles (wills and trusts)
• Aspects of incapacity planning including advance directives, general powers of attorney, and funded recovable/living trusts
