Control Your Finances, Your Life, and Yourself: Suddenly Single and Moving On

This session will provide tips on understanding your financial picture so that you are ready for any unforseen event, including finding yourself suddenly single due to divorce or death of a spouse.

Topics that will be covered in this session include:
  • An understanding of your financial reality today and in the future
  • An understanding of what your assets are and where they are
  • An understanding of the difference between marital and seperate property
  • A brief look at child support and spousal support (alimony)
