Dear Friend,

On Sunday, October 18, CJUI will be presenting the 10th Annual Genesis Awards. You will not want to miss this very special event. It is always a wonderful opportunity to  honor great people and to come together to celebrate support for Israel.

This year, former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. "Jerry" Boykin will be honored as the CJUI 2015 Genesis Award recipient and keynote speaker. He will be speaking on, "The Unbreakable Link Between America and Israel".

Among his many achievements, LTG Boykin in 1993 clashed with Muslim warlord Osman Atto in Somalia, chronicled in the film Black Hawk Down. LTG Boykin ultimately served as the Commander of the US Army Special Forces Command and as the Commandant of the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.   LTG Boykin also served six years in Intelligence (two with the CIA) and was a member of the National Security Policy Coordinating Committee for Terrorism and Coordinating Sub-Group for Homeland Security.

Also being honored are Larry and Bev Koplan, CJUI Board Members, Co-Chairs of the United Jerusalem Day Rally & Parade, the Annual Genesis Awards and outstanding community leaders.

A VIP wine & hors d'oeuvres reception will be held preceding the Genesis Awards main event.
