Join us this Fall for tons of fun and creativity! Fall Programs include:

NOTE: Prices below are the check/cash tuition rates. When you move to the registration screen it will list the credit card prices (approx. $5-$15 more per class). To save on credit card fees and pay the check/cash rates simply download the registration form and mail it in with your payment or bring it to the office. Fall 2015 Music Program - Ages 6mo - Adults

*Mini* Musical Exploration - Ages 6mo-3 & 3-5

Share the joy of exploring music with your child! Learn new and traditional songs while developing a sense of rhythm, ear training, singing, dancing, and playing. A class for caregivers and children to bond as they develop a love of music.
Dates: 8 Wednesdays, Oct 7-Dec 9 (No class Nov 11 or Nov 25)

Suzuki Beginnings: Violin - Ages 3.5-6 (with caregiver) - REGISTRATION CLOSED, call for more info
Wondering if Suzuki Talent Education is right for your family? We will use rhythm games, singing, listening and first steps in violin to explore the Suzuki Triangle in a fun, nurturing environment. A great interim step between general music classes and private lessons.

Ukulele Class - Ages 5 and up- REGISTRATION CLOSED, call for more info
Come explore this popular instrument with us. We will learn fun music, while learning left and right hand technique. No previous experience necessary. Bring a soprano ukulele with case to the first class. Ukuleles are very affordable and readily available at most music stores. Some students find models with the electronic tuner attached make tuning at home a breeze.

Instrument Exploration - Ages 3.5-6 (with caregiver)
Wondering if Suzuki Talent Education is right for your family? Not sure which instrument is right for your child? This class will help you explore Suzuki piano, violin, cello and guitar. We will also use rhythm games, singing, and listening to explore the Suzuki Triangle in a fun, nurturing environment. 
Dates: 9 Wednesdays, Oct 7-Dec 16 (No class Nov 11 or Nov 25)
Time: 3:30-4:00pm; $130 per family

Suzuki Book 1 Violin Group Class (Once Monthly) - Ages: All
With violins in hand, we will continue to perfect posture while working on playing arco and pizzicato, play Twinkle rhythms and open-stringed songs and games. Students may have the opportunity to rehearse solos for Performance Night preparation. Advanced students will be given harmonies or leadership roles. We will take what we have learned in lessons and learn to play in the group. Join our musical community!

Time: 4:30-5:15pm $45 for those enrolled in weekly lessons; all others $75.

The focus of this group vocal class is for youngsters to learn song melodies with " Creatures of the Earth" as the theme. Innovative games and creative music exercises are an integral part of the class, to spark children's creativity. Student recitals takes place the last day of class to share their performance practice. Students participating with classmates, working together, and sharing ideas is the fuel to their self-confidence & a catalyst for a performer's greater "stage presence"!

Bucket percussion, or bucket drumming, is taking the nation by storm! Join our group class where students are taught in drum line style on buckets. In just 9 weeks students will be able to play through 3 songs, learning basic beats, note values, and be able to read drum sheet music. Street musicians have been performing amazing percussion sounds on buckets and similar items throughout history. Buckets are simple and easy to find items that can produce some very amazing and entertaining sounds.

Weekly Suzuki Group Violin Class - Ages 7-13 - REGISTRATION CLOSED, call for more info
Learn to play in a group setting using the Suzuki repertoire. Students should already be enrolled in and taking private violin lessons.

Come and sing your favorite musical numbers in a supportive environment! Innovative games and creative music exercises will help to spark your creativity. We'll work together and share ideas in order to be more confident in your singing ability and improve your stage presence. A mini recital will take place during the last class to show off your work.

Monthly Suzuki Gather In - Inter-generational

Join us for a Gather In to add the next piece of the Suzuki experience! We’ll review your Suzuki pieces and preview those that are coming up. You’ll have a chance to perform your polished piece before the next recital and rehearse with us for community outreach concerts as well as prepare for Community Performances at Zinga, “Shop the Block” Serenade (Dec 3) and Festival of Trees (Dec 5-6).

Each adult class will be a fun & friendly singing class addressing basic vocal technique needed for healthy singing paired with an importance of performance presentation and 'selling' your musical story. Singing repertoire will include solo, duet, and ensemble repertoire based on the group's level of interest & preference.
