C.S. Lewis and the Uses and Abuses of the Imagination

C.S. Lewis said that the imaginative man in him was the older and more continually operative than the rational man.  While Lewis was known for his sound apologetics and reasoned arguments supporting the Christian faith, it was his power of imaginative depictions that makes his writing so profound. What can we learn about the imagination (both its uses and abuses) to help understand our world and ourselves better?  Please join us for what will prove to be a compelling evening with one of our favorite speakers, Dr. Jerry Root.
